Maggie May
Maggie May
April 12, 1992 - November 26, 2006
Maggie May was a very beautiful brown tabby with white Maine Coon. We bought her from an excellent Maine Coon cattery and for14 years she was a strong healthy girl. She never got sick unless she got too close to chemicals when the windows were open. She spent all her time indoors except for Vet trips in the car, She went in or a dental aound her 14th birthday, had one tooth removed and seemed fine. A few months later she came down with lymphoma. We are still baffled, she had tested neg for Felv and Fiv. She had Chemo treatments an went into remission, but it hid in her bones and came back like gang busters a few months later. We got nealy 3 months of quality time with her thanks to Chemo, but we still don't understand how such a healthy, strong girl like Maggie could have left us so fast. She was only 14 1/2 years old. We miss her terribly and still wonder if that dental had something to do with this. The Vet who did her dental, her cat came down with lymphoma the same week as Maggie. Could there have been a connection?

My beautiful Shasta, a 13 year old ruddy Abyssinian, went over the bridge this evening. He was diagnosed with lymphoma earlier this year. He was a very brave boy, but he let me know this morning that it was time for him to go. His two favorite past times were chasing after flying birdie feathers on a string and keeping his mommy's lap warm as often as possible. Now he's galloping through fields of catnip with my sweet Jonathan and little Punkin.

My dear sweet boy .. you came into my life at a hard time for me, and you left so unexpectedly. You have a piece of my heart. I love you so much and will cherish the times we had together. You are a gift from God and I will always be thankful for our time together ... though it was only 2 years. Love your Mom...forever. XOXO I eagerly look forward to the day we are together again.
